"Preparing and maintaining Florida's Criminal Justice Professionals"
The Florida Criminal Justice Training Center Directors Association (FCJTCDA) is comprised of the 41 training center directors responsible for the delivery of training to Florida's criminal justice professionals. Basic recruit training is offered to students wishing to join the ranks of Florida's Law Enforcement, Corrections and Correctional Probation officers. Additionally, advanced and specialized training is available to officers already certified by the State of Florida. The Training Center directors work in a collaborative effort with the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to provide the very best in training to Florida's finest.
Meetings are held quarterly in conjunction with the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at locations throughout the state in a continuous improvement process. Training Centers are affiliated with community colleges, local school districts and some law enforcement agencies. The training center directors elect a chairperson, two vice presidents, a secretary and a treasurer to conduct the administrative actions of the organization. 135 WESTON ROAD, #231
